This report provides an overall explanation of the complex reality of child trafficking and how it works; a description of the worst forms of child labor, including commercial sexual exploitation, domestic work and armed conflict; supply- and demand-side root causes; and consequences. It also discusses national and local plans to combat trafficking, international and regional initiatives, education as prevention, interception, rescue and reintegration; law enforcement and judiciary action; working with the media; commiunity mobilization and outreach. The report also explains the International Labor Office’s (ILO) efforts to combat trafficking.
