Most refugee children successfully make the adjustment to living in their new home, despite the challenges of culture, language and surroundings. When problems do arise, many refugees fail to seek assistance due to language and cultural differences, as well as a distrust of law enforcement. The subjects of this Spotlight are at-risk youth, youth support and intervention within the community, crime prevention, and juvenile justice .
