This round table was convened during the 15th National Conference on Child Abuse and Neglect to provide an opportunity for regional, state and other child welfare providers to share their experiences and expertise. In addition to discussing the issues and challenges most systems are experiencing in providing care to these children, participants shared promising practices and recommendations for the field. LIRS and USCCB will continue to strengthen their targeted technical assistance to those public child welfare agencies serving migrating children, based on information gained from this Roundtable. Topics included issues and challenges of undocumented, refugee, unaccompanied, trafficked and migrant children.
