UN High Commissioner for Refugees’s (UNHCR) newly released Three-Year Strategy on Resettlement and Complementary Pathways (2019-2021), outlines three goals and priorities 1) grow resettlement 2) advance complimentary pathways 3) build the foundation. Additionally, UNHCR’s Projected Global Resettlement Needs for 2020, identifies 387,409 cases / 1,440,408 individuals are in need of Resettlement in 2020 which is an increase over several hundred thousand from 2019 projections.
