Research from the United Nation’s High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), fills an important gap in the refugee resettlement field as a pilot study of rural refugee integration in the small town of Fort Morgan, Colorado. Fort Morgan has a population of 11,400, including over 1,000 Somali refugees, the majority of whom moved to the area to work at a local meatpacking plant within the past seven years.
