Groups of men were asked about their knowledge of its health risks and human rights violations, communication between women and men about the practice of FGM, and their involvement in the decision-making process to end the practice. Researchers aimed to gather an estimate of the proportion of men who are in favor of the continuation of FGM in Europe as compared to their country of origin and determine whether or not migration changed their views.
