This set of lesson plans for grades K-12 from Parish Organized to Welcome Refugees (POWR) of Catholic Charities Jacksonville aims to promote student awareness of the violence and human rights abuse occurring throughout the world and to understand the Holy Family’s life and the reality of refugees. The goal is that students will learn to appreciate their own blessings, nourish their family lives and share their gifts with those in need.
