The Minnesota Department of Health Refugee Health Program convened a working group of health care professionals to develop the Mental Health Screening Recommendations for Refugees in Minnesota including tools that could be used to identify individuals with chronic, serious, or acute mental illness to refer them for immediate psychiatric evaluation and treatment.
