This article presents a diagnosis of the situation of the population of displaced persons in Colombia, from the results of the Second National Verification Survey of the Monitoring Commission of Public Policies on Forced Displacement carried out in 2008. Factors of vulnerability in the areas of health, education, food security, housing, informal labor, generation of incomes, among others, reveal a situation of extreme precariousness that is still far away from the effective enjoyment of rights on the part of populations in situations of forced displacement, which synthesizes the gravity of the humanitarian crisis from which the country suffer (Description from Source)
