This report is based on the some of the misperceptions that leads to missed opportunities in identifying victims of human trafficking. Trafficking occurs everywhere and is not only a problem that involves migrants. Many victims of trafficking are viewed as criminals which does not effectively prevent victims from being exploited also holding a person in servitude is not a cultural practice.
