The Protection Project, with a grant from the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of Refugee Resettlement, is currently providing technical assistance and training to service providers working with victims of severe form of trafficking in persons. The Program will focus on unique concerns of service providers, law enforcement officials and advocates in the area. Specifically, the program will discuss the special needs of victims of trafficking in persons and the benefits available to them in accordance with the TVPA, barriers faced by service providers as well as the barriers faced by the victims in receiving services.
