The report focuses on the main mechanisms of the Mexican migration policy – detention and forced returns – that represent violations of the rights of migrant children and adolescents. The report also indicates that most undocumented children and adolescents crossing the Mexico-Guatemala border are unaccompanied. Recommendations are also made based upon the research.
