This toolkit includes chapters on: assessing community needs; developing and sustaining partnerships; planning, running and evaluating your program; raising funds; and sustaining your program. The toolkit also focuses on the recruitment, training, retention and supervision of volunteers. Included with the 13-chapter handbook is a CD-ROM Toolbox with planning and evaluation tools, sample training curricula, group activities, forms to download and use for your own program, and a 15-minute DVD highlighting five intergenerational programs that improve lives and address community concerns.
