This course follows a fictional program, The Families Program, as the effectiveness of the program is explored. A quantitative evaluation has resulted in unanswered questions so qualitative evaluation methods are used to assist in understanding the issues and improve services. The course aims to help service providers better understand the ways qualitative methods can enhance evaluation efforts, how to get started with qualitative evaluation, and ways to collect, analyze and share qualitative data.
