Resettled Young Sudanese and Somali Refugees Have High Vocational and Educational Ambitions Despite Experiences of School Disruption and Language Difficulties

This article describes the academic experiences, visions, hopes and desires, which shape the vocational aspirations of young resettled African refugees in Australia, across pre and post migration. The study revealed that even in situations of chaos and potential trauma, people can still desire to achieve academically and vocationally.
