This report draws on knowledge gained through administering a federally funded program to improve access to legal services for these children, as well as data from the Office of Refugee Resettlement, to document the path unaccompanied children follow through this system. In describing current policy and practice, it serves as a tool for practitioners, policy makers, and researchers working on issues affecting unaccompanied children nationwide.
