The 25th edition assesses child well-being nationally and across all 50 states, as well as the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. This report provides national trends and ranks states using an index of 16 indicators and in four domains: (1) economic well-being, (2) education, (3) health, and (4) family and community.It identifies key policies that have contributed to improvements in child well-being and finds gradual, incremental improvements in the area of education along with notable gains in child health and safety.
