This presentation reviews trauma issues impacting immigrant families, including exposure to violence and toxic stress relating to migration and fear of deportation; practice issues facing CASA volunteers, including immigrant parents in detention, compilations of immigrant cases, and eligibility for Special Immigrant Juvenile Status; and State and national policies impacting services to immigrant families.
