This training includes 6 modules. Module one covers immigration patterns, demographic trends, cultural characteristics, and childrearing and parenting practices among some Asian immigrant groups. Module two covers the demographic and behavioral characteristics of child maltreatment victims and perpetrators among Asian Pacific immigrants, and factors contributing to placement decisions by child protective workers. Module three covers immigration patterns, adjustment problems, demographic and behavioral characteristics of child maltreatment victims and perpetrators among Cambodian immigrants, and factors contributing to placement decisions by child protective workers. Module four covers the same topics but in relation to Chinese immigrants. Module five focuses on Korean immigrants. Module six focuses on Vietnamese immigrants.
