This workshop aims to clarify our understanding about immigrant and refugee populations including the “who”, “what”, and “where” behind immigrant and refugee populations. It also covers some of the common child welfare related issues/challenges encountered by these populations such as access to services, language and information deficits, and gaps in cultural and historical understanding.
