Laws and enforcement mechanisms of many countries need improvement in order to bring human traffickers to justice. Sometimes new laws are often not strong or comprehensive enough to be effective. This extensive report is an in-depth review of the international, regional and national laws in six Asian countries; Pakistan, Indonesia, Nepal, Bangladesh, Thailand, and Sri Lanka. The report lists country-specific recommendations, on matters such as protection and care of victims, child-sensitive legislation, enforcement, child-friendly procedures during prosecution, and closer bilateral and regional cooperation among the countires.
