Relationship Between Length of Family Preservation Program Participation, Acculturation, and Child Maltreatment Potential Among Latino/Hispanic American Adults

This dissertation provides a history of child welfare programs and child maltreatment in America, investigates whether different family preservation programs have any kind of significant effect on the rate of acculturation among Latino/hispanic families, and then in turn analyzes whether the level of acculturation will effect potential for child maltreatment.
