Getting Ready: Findings from the National School Readiness Indicators Initiative

This report emphasizes the importance of school readiness, and the fact that children who are prepared to do well in school will gain much more from the experience. The authors go on to examine a number of indicators, and discuss policy options and program recommendations to improve school readiness among all children.
