A Community Sampler: Eight Immigrant and Refugee Communities with Public School Children

The purpose of this study was to collect information on key factors including: community strengths, financial well-being, employment status, educational attainment, family structure and living arrangements, ability to speak English, and community attachment. The reports includes a PowerPoint presentation of the Immigrant and Refugee Study and 8 separate reports providing statistical data for eight imigrant and refugee communities with public school children in Fairfax County, Virginia. Populations include Farsi, Korean, Kurdish, Spanish, Salvadorian, Somali, Urdu, and Vietnamese.
