The purposes of this report are (1) to provide a picture of Latino/a youth in the U.S.justice system today, with a particular focus on racial and ethnic disparities, (2) todescribe barriers to collection of comprehensive data regarding Latino/a youth in thesystem, and (3) to initiate a ???call to action??? for Latino communities, policy makers,service providers, advocates, researchers, parents, and youth to address the problemsoutlined in this report.
