This story tells about a bridge built by a king who wishes to communicate with his subjects. When an imposter tries to defame the king, the bridge is destroyed and a temporary bridge is built. The death of the king’s ambassador finally compels the king to build a permanent bridge as a sign of forgiveness and peace. Recommended for ages 7 and up.
