This article discusses the trend of ELL students being placed in grade-level classes soon after achieving basic levels of English language acquisition.The author of this article surveyed grade-level teachers, special education teachers, reading specialists and ELL teachers in both elementary and secondary schools, on what they believe are the most important considerations for instruction of English Language Learners.
