This recent article discusses a roundtable held in July 2006 to address the intersection of immigration and child welfare. This paper presents the results of the roundtable discussion and summarizes the emerging issues that participants identified as requiring attention by child welfare systems to facilitate positive outcomes of child safety, permanency, and well-being.
