This is a new traveling exhibit designed for youth to better understand the refugee experience through the eyes of a refugee child. Seven hands-on, interactive exhibit areas illustrate the concept of home, the feelings that refugee children experience in losing their home, the process of camp registration, life within a refugee camp, the medical conditions experienced by refugee youth, the obstacles to schooling, and the hopes or fears that children feel about leaving the camp for life back home or in a new country. The exhibit runs through 2013 and will be featured in a handful of American and Canadian cities.
