Aram Davidian is one of a group of Armenian refugee orphans who made the trip from Corfu, Greece to a new home in Canada. But adjusting to a new home isn’t easy. Most upsetting to Aram and his friends are the new English names they are given. Aram must find a way to explain why he and the others must always keep their Armenian names. Recommended for grades 3-6.
