This short film features Mr. T???s fifth-grade class, which decided to make a difference last year by sponsoring two Burmese families arriving from refugee camps in Southeast Asia to Spokane, Washington. The students??? film documents the class??? efforts in preparing for the families??? arrival, like researching the Burmese people and soliciting goods to furnish the refugees??? homes. After much study and hard work, the fifth-grade class arrives at the airport to greet their long-awaited families and take them to their new homes.
