Report on Physical Punishment in the United States: What Research Tells Us About Its Effects on Children

This report provides data on the effects of physical punishment on children. Among other findings, the report concludes that physical punishment rarely improves children???s long-term behavior and instead makes children more defiant and aggressive in years to come.
