This article investigates how agencies serving newcomer families can make use new government funding. Recently $2 billion in funding became available through the Child Care and Development Block Grant, which is a part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. This article presents ten specific suggestions for how states and organizations can use this funding to improve access to quality child care for children in immigrant families.
