This handbook for refugee/asylum officers in Canada includes a section on policies and procedures for processing unaccampanied minors (pages 58-69). This section includes information on: 1) identifying separated children, unaccompanied children or children who may be at risk, 2)interviewing children who make a claim for refugee protection, and 3) referring separated children, unaccompanied children and any other children who may be at risk to the appropriate provincial child protection authorities.
