On 24 August 2005 Secretary-General Kofi Annan provided a report to the General Assembly on the Assistance to Unaccompanied Refugee Minors. In this report, he emphasized the collaboration between UNHCR and UNICEF in registering URMs; tracing their family members and identifying the most appropriate durable solutions.
