This article includes a description of the ‘family day’ part of the curriculum, when parents and children are brought together to discuss the changes they will experience in family roles, methods of child discipline, and maintaining the valuable aspects of their own culture. The article also includes information on their new parenting program for parents of young children in their daycare center.
