This article is based on an interview with Louise Williamson, Director of the Children?s Division of the Refugee Council, which addresses the needs of refugee children. Williamson, with Hedi Argent, prepared cases to illustrate problems and needs of refugee children. She also raises questions concerning the process after the child is identified as an unaccompanied child refugee, and cites legislation, organizations and agencies and their role in the process, as well as how they can help.
