This roundtable presentation gives an overview of services provided by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops/Migration and Refugee Services (USCCB/MRS), a national refugee service agency with expertise in serving unaccompanied minors arriving in the U.S. Through its existing network of Unaccompanied Refugee Minor (URM) programs, USCCB/MRS has been providing a continuum of care for unaccompanied foreign-born children who are refugees, asylees, minors in the custody of the Immigration and Nationalization Service, and most recently, children identified as victims of a severe form of trafficking.
