This testimony was for the purpose of providing “the perspective of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops on the U.S. government response to human trafficking and to relay our support for the Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act of 2005….[and to] focus mainly on child trafficking victims, who are particularly vulnerable to traffickers….[and to] briefly summarize a number of recommendations on actions that need to be taken in order to more fully protect the victims of trafficking.”
