The Redleaf National Institute’s Web site gives providers access to: (1) Redleaf Press publications, including the Calendar-Keeper, sample contracts and policies, marketing and recordkeeping guides, and tax organizers and workbooks as well as on-line business courses; (2) general articles, booklets, handouts, and newsletters on topics of interest to child care professionals; (3) specific information on such topics as the standard meal allowance, insurance and ways to reduce risk, multilingual programs, and retirement planning; (4) an archive of posted questions and answers on matters ranging from depreciations and deductions to IRS audits and other legal issues; (5) important business news, including tax law changes, and income-generating tips; and (6) links to listings of government, agency, and organizational contacts, a directory of tax preparers, and training courses and schedules. Redleaf is a division of the nonprofit Resources for Child Caring located in St. Paul, Minnesota.
