Describes the Children’s Services of the Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service (LIRS), a national organization that coordinates refugee resettlement and advocacy for uprooted peoples on behalf of such Lutheran church bodies as the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, the Lutheran Church/Missouri Synod, and the Latvian Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Children’s services include the Trafficked Children Initiative; the Unaccompanied Refugee Minor Foster Care Program; the Asian Minor Family Reunification Program; and Bridging Refugee Youth and Children’s Services (BRYCS).
