Hello!

Many of you may remember me – I worked for BRYCS for 6 years.  I currently coordinate immigrant parent involvement in a large (80,000 students, 125 schools) student district in MD called Anne Arundel County Public Schools.  I supervise a team of “bilingual family and community outreach facilitators” (we call them “bilingual facilitators” for short) who are basically like parent liaisons + interpreters + translators rolled into one.  Each of them serves multiple schools and up to 500 families/each.  I’m always advocating in our district to hire more bilingual facilitators so I can reduce their caseload sizes.  I’m looking for some data to share with our budget office about the caseload sizes of other school districts who have bilingual parent liaisons.  Thanks for any help you can provide!
