Refugee and Immigrant Service Provider Network (RISP-Net) is a collation of refugee service providers in Arizona guiding refugees towards selfsufficiency. The purpose of this website is to provide the community with information, resources and opportunities to benefit refugees, case managers, volunteers and more. RISP-Net will create a streamlined process for sharing public resources with the community and will provide community members with a centralized location to share resources, events, and contact information with community members.
Refugee and Immigrant Service Provider Network (RISP-Net)
Arizona Refugee Resettlement Program
The Arizona Refugee Resettlement Program and Refugee and Immigrant Service Provider Network (RISP-Net) came together to co-support an AmeriCorps VISTA member who developed a community resource website to create a central location to share resources, events and translated documents for the refugee and immigrant community in Arizona.
Groups Served by Program:
The entire refugee and immigrant community in Arizona.
Program Staffing and Training:
This program is staffed by an AmeriCorps VISTA member and supported by two staff members from the Arizona Refugee Resettlement Program.
The website was shared during a joint quarterly meeting with over 100 attendees and surveys were given out to receive feedback and make adjustments to ensure the website meets the needs of the community.
Since it's launch in February, the site has had more than 4,000 views and dozens of individuals have submitted hundreds of resources to be featured on the site. It has been the main source of information during the COVID-19 outbreak and has been updated nearly hourly to feature the newest information.
