Initial Outreach and EducationLink MRS with PSALM Network and Peace and Justice Commission committees to garner support and ideas. (February 1-8) 
Hold Deanery meetings in 4 Deaneries (February 2018) with all Catholic churches and other relevant community partners within each Deanery. 
Conduct follow-up to determine what needs/interests are within each Deanery. 
Provide list of ways each parish/community partner can get involved. 
Parish and Community Training 
Provide training to 100% of interested parishes on how to host/provide cultural orientation for newcomers.
Provide training to 100% of interested parishes on how to teach ESOL/provide tutoring for refugee minors.  
Parish and Community Education 
Provide Refugee101 and Cultural Competency Training to 100% of interested parishes so that they can better understand unique needs of refugees and other newcomers.

Program Objectives:
Create and strengthen partnerships with 100% of parishes in 4 distinct deaneries by the end of the grant year. Triple the number of trainings and classes held at parishes by the end of the grant year. Increase parishioners' understanding of refugees and their unique needs by the end of the grant year.

Program Staffing and Training:
Two part-time program staff to give trainings, conduct outreach to parishes, and conduct follow-ups.  

Program Evaluation:
Keep training and class logs at parishes. Conduct pre- and post-surveys of parishioner understanding.

Program Outcomes:
1. Triple the number of trainings and classes held at parishes by the end of the grant year (1/31/19).  2. Maintain partnership with 100% of parishes identified after 1 year after end of project (1/31/19).  3. Increase parishioners' understanding of refugees and their unique needs over the baseline by the end of the grant year (1/31/19).
