Return Advisory and Position on International Protection Needs of Iraqis Outside Iraq

This brief report describes the situation in Iraq as of December 2006, assesses international protection needs of Iraqis from Central and Southern Iraq, proposes specific considerations for the three Northern Governorates, and assesses international protection needs of Iraqis from the three Northern Governorates.
