This resource guide was designed to help communities across the nation take advantage of what has been learned over the past 3-1/2 years by the schools, districts, and nonprofit organizations participating in The Colorado Trust’s Bullying Prevention Initiative. Some of the information in this guide may be particularly useful to refugee-serving agencies since one of the agencies that participated in this initiative is the African Community Center, which serves African immigrant and refugee youth in Denver. Their contributions to the initiative, particularly on cultural competency, are particularly important as the field of bullying prevention lacks research on cultural competency.
