This report evaluates the conditions that impact the learning and contextual environments of Hmong pre-Kindergartners in Minnesota. The report includes quantitative data analysis from a variety of sources as well as qualitative data analysis from ten focus groups organized with Hmong parents, grandparents, child care providers, and educators. Service providers will find this report helpful in its analysis of conditions that affect Hmong families and the description of factors the help or hinder a Hmong child’s school readiness.
