In February 2016, the U.S. Refugee Youth Consultations took place in Washington, DC bringing together 25 migrant youth from 14 different countries. A year later, BRYCS followed up with some of the youth and asked them to reflect on their experiences before and after coming to the United States and how it has impacted their future goals. Additionally, they offer advice for newcomer parents and teens, as well as teachers and the community as a whole.
